“Philly police bombed MOVE group home to ‘exterminate us’ – Ramona Africa”
On Mother’s Day of 1985, the city of Philadelphia dropped a bomb on a house filled with civilians. The house belonged to the MOVE organization, a group of people who embraced a natural way of life. The city’s police department fired 10,000 rounds of ammunition into the house, killing 11 MOVE members. RT America’s Ashlee Banks gives the second part of her report on the organization.

MOVE prisoners may get parole after 30 years
Very few know the story of the MOVE organization founded by John Africa in the 1970’s. RT America’s Ashlee Banks explains the history of the organization, which was raided by the Philadelphia Police Department ‒ resulting in the death of an officer ‒ and later bombed by that same department. Now a few members may get parole, giving them their first taste of freedom in 30 years.
